Description

Rainfall turned to snow. Temperatures were well below freezing. My morning Power bar was frozen hard. When I finally succeeded breaking off a chunk, foolishly using my teeth, the portion remaining in hand painfully jammed into my nose! After responding with a choice word or two, I laughed at my folly, and from then on, warmed the Power bars in my pants pocket until they came to a more agreeable consistency. Then, unbelievably, I heard a tree frog croaking!
